Montessori – Wide Bed House

This beautiful bed house has been designed following the Montessori principles. It is hand-made and built of 60 mm thick squared timber. It has two panels attached to the side of the bed, for most security and comfort – especially for younger children.
Coated with ecological lacquer, this low bed comes in different colours to match the style of your child’s room. It also includes a slatted base.
The bed frame starts about 6 cm above the floor, supporting children’s autonomy as they won’t need an adult’s assistance to get up. As children grow up and a higher bed is needed, additional legs can be incorporated to raise the bed 10 cm or 20 cm. The bed can bear up to 150 kg, so you can read fairy tales while lying next to each other.
